If you have a moment in the next few days I recommend swinging by Danziger Gallery on West 23rd street to see work by Gregory Crewdson and O. Winton Link in American Darkness.
The prints are gorgeous, and Link’s decision to photograph the Norfolk and Western railway line at night casts a haunting veil over the narrative. Make sure to read Crewdson’s interview with the gallery curators about his relationship with Link.
