Mathieu Goussin and Hortense Le Calvez are an art duo from France. They are also known as Forlane 6 Studio. With the help of their trusty boat, the duo has been creating a series of photographic documentation of their installations out at sea.
Goussin and Calvez implement a combination of everyday objects and materials that are transformed when they are captured in motion, underwater. The currents and opacity of the water dismantle these things from their stifling original contexts, allowing them to “metamorphose” into things of their own.
