William LeGoullon was raised in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona. Through photography, LeGoullon has developed a personal obsession and appreciation for the arid surroundings of the desert. In his work, LeGoullon collects artifacts that he finds during his photographic outings. From desert barnacles to shot up objects, LeGoullon is clearly interested in the iconic symbolism that can be found within the Southwest.
His current ongoing work, titled “Dissonance,” provides a clear backdrop and context to the artifacts that he presents in his other projects.
