Dan Wetmore is a photographer operating between Pittsburgh, PA and Syracuse, NY. He received his BFA from Syracuse University in 2013, and now works at a food cooperative to fund his photography practice.
He has long brown hair and drives a Buick station wagon.
Wetmore’s images are straightforward, but never easy. His images from his “Golden Dawn” series maintains a sense of romanticism associated with the region. Beautiful light drips slowly out of the cracks of abandoned buildings and factories. A sense of hopelessness lingers in the shadows, but for now, the light continues to gently shine on the people in Wetmore’s photographs.
