Jeffrey Rose is a Brooklyn based photographer originally from West Palm Beach, Florida.
In his still life work, Rose creates lens based collages that utilize different categories of artistic production: painting, sculpture, drawing, photographing. Rose uses both physical and digital methods to transform objects and spaces. An investigation in contemporary mark making practice, Rose pushes the definition of contemporary photographic images as digital technology continues to allow artists to flatten and combine different approaches into a singular image.
