Ryan Oskin: Dreams Catalog

We first encountered Ryan Oskin‘s work in 2013. At the time Oskin was working on a series titled “Domesti-scapes.”

Oskin has continued his explorations in quirky still life images that touch on the structure of American domestic life. In his latest body of work, Oskin pushes the notion of artificiality into the expectations one may experience in their childhood. A deluge of objects and appropriated images of toddlers construct playful formal compositions – each hinting at the anxiety of uncertainty and the kitsch of American life.
